The Health Centre is located in the province of Agios Nicolaos of Western Mani of the prefecture of Messinia. It provides health care and services to the wider area of Messinian Mani.

THE VILLAGE OF AGIOS NICOLAOS
Agios Nicolaos (or Selinitsa as the former name of the village was) has been  inhabited since the early 19th century. It is a traditional fishing village with a picturesque harbour. The residents are mainly engaged in fishing, cultivation of olives and tourism. In the surrounding area there are beautiful beaches for those who love the sea and paths to mountain villages or to the gorge of Stepenis for the lovers of hiking and walking. A newly made bicycle road connects Agios Nicolaos to Stoupa, the most touristy village in the area.

 

THE MESSINIAN MANI
The Messinian Mani lies in the western part of the middle peninsula of Peloponnesus . It has an interesting history, natural beauty, traditional stone towers and clean beaches.
